 Nathan John Feuerstein (born March 30, 1991) is known as his initials NF (stylized as IF) is an American singer, rapper, songwriter and record producer. Two EPs were issued by the artist I'm free (2012) [3] and an EP titled self-titled in 2014. He signed to Capitol CMG. Mansion was the first album he released on a major label. The second studio album, Therapy Session, was released on April 22, 2016, and peaked at the number 12 spot on the US Billboard 200. His albums have earned several awards, among which include the Gospel Music Association Dove Award for Rap/Hip Hop Album of the Year (Therapy Session).NF achieved mainstream popularity in 2017 with the release of Perception. the album reached the top spot in the United States and was certified platinum. The album's third single, "Let You Down" was ranked at number 12 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and a top-ten international hit, Feuerstein achieved the same commercial success in his follow-up album The Search (2019). Feuerstein said that rap was for him as a way to escape his youth. Feuerstein recorded songs with the singing machine. He recorded instrumentals as well as raps on one microphone. Feuerstein released his own debut album Moments on November 29, 2010 under his real name. He released his first single, "Alone", on August 2, 2011. Brooke Griffith was the songwriter and produced the song. Xist Music discovered Feuerstein's work in 2012 and became intrigued by his music. Feuerstein released his extended play I'm Free on May 2nd in 2012, with production by Profitt. The tracklist included nine tracks, including "Alone". The EP also featured an exclusive version of "Alone" which featured Sean Simmonds. Xist had been in the news about the self-titled extended play NF. But Feuerstein quit his contract with the label, and the production of NF was delayed. NF still featured a song featuring Shuree William "Only One", on the label’s compilation album Move Vol 1 He released a single, "Beautiful Addiction", on the 4th of November, 2013.
